Manager, Finance

SUMMARY

A finance professional with at least 5 years of experience in pharma industry with knowledge in pharma industry Gross to Net domain, MIS, finance & accounting. Highly motivated with strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance & Accounting

• Ensure proper sales and customer payment related accruals, Gross to Net accruals in reporting systems such as BI, Targit, regular checking of accruals verses actuals based on customer inventory and sales out data and timely periodic true up of accruals. Preparation of monthly MIS reports and other analytical reports for top management.

Receivable Management

• Coordination with Sales, Contracts, Chargebacks, Trade Operations & Supply Chain in matters related to customer contracts, sales, returns, incentives, claims, disputes, accounting, MIS and management reporting affecting gross to net and make proper adjustment to the accruals
• Responsible for any other job related to receivable management including Accounting and Finance activities for maintaining up to date customer accounts.

Financial Controls

• Maintain financial security by adhering to internal accounting controls.
• Maintain customer accounts in ERP system and monitored the accounts in timely manner.

Audit

• Point person for sales related accruals, gross to net, internal and management audits covering gross to net and true ups

Contracts

• Ensure review and understanding of customer contracts
• Interacted with sales, marketing and contracts department to understand and keep up to date knowledge about customer contracts and help pricing and contract team in contracts analysis and negotiations.

Designing Systems

• Provide innovative ideas for improvements in systems & processes for accruals, implement gross to net and periodic true up.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Strong knowledge of Generic pharma Gross to Net domain.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem solving, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge in accounting and finance, understanding of US GAAP & IFRS.
• Strong knowledge of systems and processes in Finance domain.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Certified Public Accountant, Licensed in New Jersey
• Master of Business Administration, Finance & MIS, School of Business, Rutgers University
• More than 5 years of experience in US Pharma Industry.
